Lilght Information Display

This nighttime exterior shot of Black Gazza shows the Lights Information display on.

In this picture you can see five big prims that emit light. They have scripts that turn them on at night and off during the day. The white boxes show the basic box prim (no matter what the prim's actual shape is). The yellow boxes show how much of the surrounding area is illuminated. In my construction I use lights just for nighttime area illumination and keep only one light source visible in any one place.

Something in the middle is abusing light emitters. See the half-dozen yellow cubes at all angles? I don't know what that is, but I bet it causes lag nearby. If the light-emitting effect is really needed, then make do with just one. You probably won't be able to tell the difference visually, and people with slower systems won't experience as much lag.

The blue glowy hemisphere is a particle fountain. I suppose it might be cool to illuminate the area in blue, but the effect would be so faint it would not be worth it.
