Don't be an Ass

People know when they're doing it. When you're rules lawyering, powergaming, trying to get people in trouble, or causing drama, you're being an ass. Don't.

Staff

Staff of Black Gazza are those that have Black Gazza Warden, Captain, Officer, or Guard in their title. No one else may claim these other than Lormyr Daviau who masquerades as everything (Inmate, Guard, Warden).

Conflict

If there is a problem or a situation going on that is causing you pain, please try to address the problem in this order:

1. The person causing you the distress or pain
2. A guard, officer, or captain
3. The Black Gazza chat channel
4. The Head Raccoon (Lormyr Daviau)

Engaging the Head Raccoon should be the last line of defense here. He is busy and it is quite likely you'll get faster resolution by going through the guards, officers, or captains first.

spam

In general, gestures are disallowed unless they fall into the following criteria:

• does not bother staff or the head raccoon.
• it is applicable to the scene someone is in.
• very brief and not repeated often.

Examples:

good

yay when you succeed at something, making a cracking noise when hanged, making a raspberry noise when you want to emphasize silly, or squeaking latex (although that makes me squirm IRL), making a soft MEEPing sound when I beep a nose.

bad

Playing "I wanna F* you like an animal" while having 'visits', playing "I am a Pirate" in the middle of the cell block, or Super Hyper Anime songs while in the OOC lounge.

This is an environment where people are playing and trying to have scenes man. Don't kill their buzz. Be respectful to your fellow inmates. Sound travels through walls as if they didn't exist in Second Life.

You will be warned about this behavior, then ejected. If it continues, bans. Ejections should be viewed as Lormyr hitting the gong like in the Gong Show. It doesn't mean that he hates you, he just wants the pain to stop. :P
